About the roleWe are excited to recruit for a Senior Finance Analyst - Digital on a permanent basis, who will be a crucial member of the Digital Finance function, reporting into the Finance Manager - Digital.
The Senior Finance Analyst will be crucial in providing financial insights to support the successful growth and delivery of charlottetilbury.com global market results. The right candidate will be a finance professional with a can-do attitude, with experience in delivering accurate and timely financial support.
Business partnering is core to the success of this role, working closely with CT.com, IT and Systems functions. Along with supporting month-end, budget and forecasts for the Digital teams the role with provide financial support to the IT and Systems teams, taking responsibility for cost tracking, forecasting and business partnering.
As a Senior Finance Analyst - Digital you will
- Completing all components of month end, including owning the functions cost trackers, reviewing Shared Services postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly reporting, including supporting the business in investigating and analysing forecast variances and providing explanations. Presenting results to the Finance Manager and Head of Finance.
- Supporting the Finance Manager to provide Group Finance with materials to support on audit requests.
- Detailed understanding of costs, being able to identify risks and opportunities and escalate them appropriately. Build a positive but challenging relationship with stakeholders to help create opportunities and efficiencies.
- Presenting a monthly update on costs and variances to the Director of Technology [IT & Systems].
- Support the Finance Manager with regular and ad-hoc requests for commentary and reporting.
- Supporting with the delivery of all Digital and Technology budgets and forecasts for revenue, OPEX and CAPEX. Ensuring outputs are accurate and within the required time frame.
- Contribute to deliver business cases and commercial analysis for promotional activity (ROIs).
- Support stakeholders in following the correct finance processes and acting as a first level approver for the functions POs.
- Support the Finance Manager in developing the finance function for Digital - developing controls, processes, and reporting.
About you
- Qualified (or approaching qualification) - CIMA, ACCA, ACA with experience ideally in an industry role.
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards is essential
- Highly organised and able to work to time pressured deadlines
- Proven experience in running month-end and forecast cycles
- Commercial and analytical mindset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate clearly to stakeholders at different levels of seniority and with different levels of financial literacy
- Advanced excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc)
- Flexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learn
