Senior Finance Analyst Controllership

Job Description

Within Sherwin-Williams we have 5 legal entities across UK and Ireland and in this role as a Senior Finance Analyst you will take a lead role for some of the smaller entities as well as providing support for the larger UK & Ireland Legal Entities. You will be the main point of contact for both internal and external reporting and to ensure all statutory filings are made accurately and on time.

This position can be based anywhere in the UK, working remotely or hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Controlling USGAAP/Primary GL transaction functions including month end and year end activities
• USGAAP and Statutory Accounting
• Annual statutory compliance, Audit and Internal Controls support
• Support to local business finance partners
• Global /Finance Transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Minimum of 2 years GL accounting / Certified accountant
• Business and accounting education according to UK accounting standards
• Previous experience working in an audit environment or a multinational organization with 2+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Advantage to have 2+ years of experience Oracle ERP accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Can communicate financials and related issues in clear business language.
• Ability to work constructively at all organizational levels, from plant operators to senior executives.
• Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadline and performance goals.
