Purpose of the Role
Join the Finance team as a Senior Finance Analyst where you'll play a key role in providing support to functions across Bentley, aiding the decision making process through various activities to include scenario modelling and evaluations of outputs, owning budgets and guiding stakeholders on cost allocation activities. Reporting into the Finance Manager your main responsibilities include;

  • Business partnering across all areas of Production and VI to assist with achieving their portion of the manufacturing factory cost target
  • Identifying risks and opportunities through the year to achieve the adjusted target and any adjusted company profit targets
  • Feeding the output into the appropriate forecasts/budgets
  • Assisting with Planning Round inputs
  • Proactively engaging in streamlining current Production processes
  • Timely and accurate processing of designated month end tasks, ensuring understanding of any variances before the close of play on working day one
  • Managing Production consumables and consumable tools annual budget identifying Risks and Opportunities
  • Reporting the weekly Manufacturing overtime numbers to provide accurate and timely reporting to management

About the Team
The Manufacturing and Quality Finance team is basically responsible for two things: On the one hand, we steer the finances for the series production, ensuring that all cost, investment and inventory targets are achieved. On the other hand, we are supporting the transformation of the factory into a site for battery electric vehicles (BEV), aligning with the Beyond 100 strategy. This is achieved through collaboration with key stakeholders in Manufacturing and Finance within Bentley and the wider VW group. As part of a dynamic, agile team, you will manage, develop and lead activities cross functionally.

About you - Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of financial accounting processes and skills, with an understanding of how business processes affect company financials
  • An ability to process and understand the cause and impact of transactions
  • An ability to model data and produce business models and analysis to support decision making
  • An ability to effectively interface with areas of the business and present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • A proven track record of effective working cross-functionally
  • IT Skills - Advanced Excel and Office
  • Experience using business planning tools e.g. Cognos
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of enterprise resource planning systems e.g. SAP
  • A year or more of PQE experience and hold an accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
