Senior Fieldwork Manager Leaving Care service
We are seeking a confident, motivated and inspirational manager with a proven track record of creating change and making a difference to young people's lives. You will support the Service Manager and lead a team of professional practitioners in the Leaving Care service.
You'll be accountable for ensuring overall service delivery with responsibility for performance and resource management.
You will be a talented influencer, a strong networker and be able to build multi-agency relationships and partnerships with our partners within Leaving care, for better services to children and their families. It is therefore important that you are highly experienced and already successful in your Social Work role.
Social work qualified and registered with Social Work England, you will have significant post-qualification experience in statutory children's services and a portfolio of your up- to- date continuous professional development. You will manage a team of Personal Advisors and Advanced Social Work practitioner.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
