Senior Mailroom Operative
This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Facilities Coordinator specialising in Goods-In/Goods-Out (GIGO) to spearhead operations ensuring a unified, elite logistics experience across all campus locations. This pivotal role shifts beyond daily oversight to regional governance, empowering you to shape the future of our logistics network.
This is more than a coordination role, it's an opportunity to drive "moments of delight" for our customers and pursue "amazing outcomes each day" as an ambassador of the CBRE and Client brand. You will be instrumental in making our London logistics network scaleable, safe, and truly world-class.
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for the entire London GIGO portfolio, transitioning from daily dock supervision to holistic regional management.
- Ensure a consistent, "elite logistics experience" and "consistent service excellence across all London sites," embedding the "Google experience" uniformly.
- Manage the high-level relationship with our Central Distribution Centre (CDC) provider, meticulously ensuring "contractual compliance across the city".
- Analyse regional logistical data, report on "London-wide SLAs/KPIs to Client leadership", and define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that site leads execute, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying global workplace trends and implementing them locally to enhance the user experience and service delivery.
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise supplier personnel and subcontractors, tracking performance and ensuring the "customer receives the best output". You'll uphold all supplier compliance processes.
- People & Culture Development
- Lead the recruitment, training, and succession planning for the Goods-In/Goods-Out teams across London, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Actively contribute to and enhance our safety culture, logging quality hazards, ensuring actions are closed out, and embedding "RISE Behaviours" for safe working and compliance.
- Support the preparation and management of operational budgets within contract guidelines, ensuring spending compliance, and investigating invoice/purchase order queries.
- Proactively identify and recommend revenue contribution initiatives to exceed the plans.
- Plan and manage all building-related projects and renovations your team is involved in, contributing to First Day Of Business preparation and execution.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in a senior facilities or logistics role, with a strong focus on Goods-In/Goods-Out operations, ideally across multiple sites.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse complex data, define robust SOPs, and drive innovation.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of team development, performance management, and fostering a positive, engaged team culture.
- Deep understanding of QHSE regulations and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety standards.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client liaison skills.
- A proactive approach, consistently seeking opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency.
