The role

As a Senior Event Technology Executive, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our cutting-edge networking platforms deliver exceptional value to our clients. This role is integral to crafting seamless event experiences, leveraging technology to connect industry leaders and create impactful B2B networking opportunities.

You'll be a vital member of the Event Technology Team, collaborating closely with Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and external technology providers. You'll handle everything from configuring platform settings and managing registration portals to building tailored meeting schedules that exceed client expectations.

In this role, you'll:

  • Be the Platform Maestro: You'll masterfully configure and operate our state-of-the-art networking platform, ensuring it meets the unique needs of each event and its delegates.
  • Own the Delegate Experience: From setting up delegate profiles to fine-tuning personalised meeting schedules, you'll ensure attendees have a seamless, productive, and engaging experience.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: You'll act as the key bridge between teams, aligning platform operations with event goals and delivering on client needs.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Whether it's addressing last-minute changes or optimising schedules in real-time, you'll thrive in managing dynamic environments.
  • Shape Event Success: Through on-site and remote support, you'll ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any issues to keep the event running flawlessly.

The role is dynamic, involving a mix of technical, analytical, and client-facing responsibilities. You'll have the opportunity to travel to stunning international destinations in Europe and North America to support on-site operations, while also contributing remotely to other events.

Key duties

  • Platform management
  • Set up and run the networking platform for events (Grip)
  • Liaise with other departments to meet publication deadlines
  • Ensure event-specific requirements are met and signed off
  • Perform quality control of the platform, including ensuring the accuracy of delegate profiles and reviewing for grammar/spelling mistakes
  • Meeting scheduling
  • Creating and tailoring meeting schedules
  • Ensure the delivery of the best possible set of meeting schedules to delegates
  • Ensure all delegates' meeting preferences are considered in a timely manner
  • Create meeting schedules and adjust them according to client feedback before and during events
  • Remote support for events:
  • Ensure the smooth running of the networking platform and meetings
  • Improve schedules with feedback from delegates
  • Action changes to the content on the platform as required

Skills and experience required

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the meetings industry
  • Familiarity with APIs and system integrations, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Grip, FormTitan, or similar event technology tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office services, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Desire and ability to travel to events if required

Due to the nature of the company and the role, you may occasionally be required to work outside of hours to support events and meet deadlines.
