Newton Media is seeking a Senior Event Operations Executive with easy access to London, to join our dynamic team, managing and delivering exceptional events across the UK, Europe and the USA. You'll play a pivotal role in end-to-end event operations, ensuring seamless execution while working closely with sponsors, speakers, and vendors.

Requirements
About the Role
As a key member of our events team, you'll be responsible for everything from venue sourcing and contract negotiation to on-site event management. You'll lead the logistical aspects of our events, ensuring all moving parts come together flawlessly. From coordinating AV and managing sponsor deliverables to overseeing event websites and networking apps, you'll be at the heart of making our events a success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, and contract negotiation
- Manage budgets, updating and maintaining P&L sheets for each event
- Work with AV teams to ensure seamless technical setups
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and speakers, managing headshots, bios, logos, and other deliverables
- Lead on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution of event floor plans and venue setup
- Manage event networking apps, maximising engagement for attendees and sponsors
- Use Bizzabo, Canva, and Excel to streamline event management tasks
- Compile post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in end-to-end event management, handling multiple corporate events at once
- Ability to travel to the USA for events
- Based in London or the Home Counties
- Fluent English speaker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel for budget tracking and financial planning
- A hands-on approach to event logistics, with problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Bizzabo or other event management platforms
- Knowledge of Canva, PowerPoint, and Gmail for event materials
- Creative problem-solving skills and driven to deliver top-tier events
