The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic senior-level tax lawyer to join a collegiate and growing team offering high quality tax work across a broad range of practice areas and excellent career development and responsibility.
You will work closely with high calibre clients and colleagues in the UK and throughout Ashurst's global network and can expect to have exposure to a wide range of high quality projects.
We are interested in hearing from people who are:
- Senior level associate with experience in an international law firm (6+ PQE only)
- Excellent technical and analytical skills across legal drafting, legislative and case law interpretation, and the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic advice.
- A desire to build on client relationships and develop your own client network.
- Manage projects and transactions in a pro-active and organised manner, and communicates well with colleagues, clients, counterparties and other advisers.
- Demonstrate an enthusiasm for business development and strong interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated to understanding clients' needs and priorities and delivering a first-class service.
- Understanding the industries and wider business landscape in which our clients operate, including the commercial challenges and opportunities they face.
- Enthusiasm for the subject area; enjoys practicing tax law and discussing legal developments with colleagues and clients.
