About the role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Equine Events Assistant to join our Myerscough Commercial Services team and play a key role in delivering our diverse and exciting programme of equine events within the renowned International Arena.

In this hands-on and fast-paced role, you will support the planning, preparation, and smooth delivery of a wide range of competitive and educational equine events. From creating event schedules and coordinating with judges and officials, to preparing arena spaces and operating online scoring systems, you'll help ensure every event runs to the highest professional standard.

You will provide excellent customer service to competitors, visitors, students, and colleagues, acting as an ambassador for the College and contributing to the outstanding reputation of our equine facilities. The role also includes supervising casual staff during some events, supporting wider commercial services when required, and assisting with essential administrative tasks such as responding to enquiries, managing event documentation, and monitoring stock levels.

As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you'll work collaboratively to maintain exceptional standards of presentation, safety, and organisation throughout the International Arena and surrounding facilities. Regular evening and weekend work is an integral part of the role, aligned with the nature of the events schedule.
