Job Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious, and talented individual with excellent communication skills and technical ability in relation to the consenting of infrastructure projects with a focus on the industrial, energy and water sectors.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead and assist with the delivery of complex environmental impact assessment projects, working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. The role will involve working directly with clients, problem-solving and representing the company in client offices, and regulator and stakeholder meetings, as well as providing technical guidance and support to the permitting team and wider Environment Group.
This role might be right for you if you have:

Demonstratable experience in the delivery of at least one of the following:

    • Environmental permitting and post-consent support
    • Environmental Impact Assessments for industrial projects
    • Environmental compliance and due diligence
    • Sustainability and carbon management
  • Experience working with a variety of regulators and stakeholders
  • Robust project management and financial management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Location:

Our core Industrial Permitting team are based in Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh and London and we would welcome new starters at these locations. However, we can offer a range of UK office locations, including Birmingham, Brighton, Liverpool, and Peterborough for the right candidate.
