Job Description:
You will lead the architectural design of a core AI-native platform, building high-scale agent-driven workflows to transform the accounting industry. Reporting to the Principal Engineer with direct CEO exposure, you will manage production-grade microservices and mentor a growing engineering team while bridging the gap between complex AI prototypes and reliable financial systems.

What you will do:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-native architecture using Python (FastAPI/Django) and AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and EKS.
• Translate complex AI prototypes into secure, highly-available production microservices, owning the entire lifecycle from deployment to real-time inference.
• Mentor a team of 4-6 software engineers, establishing cultures of technical excellence, CI/CD, TDD, and rigorous observability using Prometheus and Grafana.

The ideal candidate:

• 8-15 years of full-stack experience in fast-scaling environments or category leaders like Revolut, with a focus on platform architecture and data infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in building and scaling AI-agent driven workflows and managing the unique challenges of non-deterministic, data-driven systems.
• Strong product delivery mindset with the ability to navigate complex compliance environments (ISO) while maintaining a rapid iteration cycle.
