Senior Engineer, Flow Assurance - 30352
At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Engineer, Flow Assurance within Eni Progetti in Basingstoke, UK. You will be responsible for reporting to the Subsea System Chief Engineer, this position requires an individual who is quality and delivery focussed with an advanced technical knowledge relating to all aspects of flow assurance in the transport of oil and gas via flowlines, trunklines and pipeline installations.

EniProgetti UK operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
As a member of the engineering department at Eni Porgetti you will be responsible for:
- To prepare all technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and contract package preparation, detailed engineering and Operations.
- To follow up Supplier Call for Tender & Selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.) when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
- To review and approve FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
- Teamwork and collaboration with other colleagues in the Subsea Systems department, and especially with the Flow Assurance colleagues.
- Be aware of International Standards & Codes.
- Correctly apply Company internal standards and HSEQ policies.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- Graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Ability to identify, define, and analyse complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes.
- Proficient knowledge of multiphase steady state and transient simulations with specialist flow assurance software in the analysis of development projects.
- Experience with Technical Audit and Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID's, Risk Assessments.
- Ability to effectively interface and communicate with other staff (outside flow assurance specialists), shareholders, contractors and management.
- Ability to communicate well, both laterally and vertically within the organisation.
- Full understanding of the importance in planning and executing projects.
- Ability to identify the need for and manage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions.
- Demonstrable experience in Flow Assurance in all project phases.
- Proficient usage of the following software: OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, Unisim.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines due to multidisciplinary approach to projects.
- Able to handle highly complex and diverse assignments while applying a high level of independent.
- Strong communication, coordination, task prioritisation, interpersonal skills and excellent engineering judgement.
- Relevant Chemical/Mechanical/Energy engineering degree.
