Senior Engineer

The Role Lead day-to-day engineering on civils packages in Stratford. Set out works, manage quality and records, mentor juniors, and keep programme, safety, and stakeholders on track.
What you'll do

• Set out from drawings/models; maintain survey control and as-builts
• Implement ITPs; carry out checks; close snags/NCRs
• Plan short-term works, resources, and temporary works with the team
• Brief RAMS/method statements; run toolbox talks
• Keep accurate diaries, drawing registers, and reports
• Liaise with designers, subcontractors, and client reps
• Support cost/forecast updates and variations

What you'll need

• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong setting-out experience (RC, highways, infrastructure)
• CSCS card; confident with AutoCAD + Total Station/GNSS
• Solid knowledge of NEC, CDM, programme/risk & cost control
• Clear communicator; able to lead and mentor

Nice to have: SMSTS/IOSH, Temporary Works Coordinator, Confined Space, Lift Supervisor.
