As a Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant at Lidl, you'll play a key role in reducing energy consumption and supporting our international compliance with ISO 50001. From developing and implementing energy strategies, to improving energy efficiency across our retail operations, your contribution will significantly support Lidl's sustainability goals. You'll be a great communicator and have the ability to bring teams across Lidl GB together to achieve our energy targets.

What you'll do
- Run and continually improve our ISO 50001 energy management system for all stores, distribution centres, and offices.
- Monitor and report on energy performance indicators, ensuring compliance with group standards and regulations.
- Organise energy audits and analyse consumption data to identify areas for improvement.
- Initiate solutions and projects to resolve these areas of opportunity, including budgeting, service tendering, and success monitoring.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to integrate energy efficiency into the businesses processes and projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in energy efficiency.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Experience in energy management, preferably in retail or a multi-site environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and data handling abilities.
- Well-developed presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised project management and strong stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of energy systems, building technologies, and industry regulations.
- Drive to influence and initiate change across various departments and levels of the organization.
