We're hiring! Our team of Employment Rights Lawyers are looking to add to their established team based in Manchester and Liverpool. Working on a wide range of cases, you will already be an experienced Senior Lawyer, well versed in managing a full caseload of employment advice and/or representation matters as well as having supervisory experience.

What does the role involve?

  • Conducting and managing cases from start to finish, this will be across a range of large and / or complex cases within employment rights.
  • Assist in the communication with local/regional union officials on behalf of the firm.
  • Take appropriate daily decisions involving considerable exercise of judgment.
  • Undertake advocacy in the Employment Tribunal (ET), including preliminary hearings and where necessary may be required to carry out advocacy in full hearings up to 2 days.
  • Work as part of a wider team, carrying out work on other team members' cases as required.
  • Supervision of junior member(s) of the team within your area.

About You

We are looking for qualified solicitors or Legal Executives with a sound theoretical knowledge of the work and an ability to conduct cases from beginning to end.

As well as having a good knowledge of Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT), rules on evidence, litigation process and funding, we are keen to hear from effective, clear and concise communicators with strong supervisory skills.
