What you can look forward to as Senior EMC Engineer:

• Technical management of small to large EMC validation test programs
• Supervising the set up and setting up and conducting all types of EMC tests and ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly
• Preparation of test time estimates to support the quotation process
• Assisting the EMC Technical Manager with technical improvements and accreditation activities
• Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements
• Recording product condition or behaviour during and after test and creating concise and clear test records
• Working as part of large team to co-ordinate testing activities and help maintain the test facilities.
• Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults
• Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work

Your Profile as Senior EMC Engineer:

• Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification with a good understanding in Physics
• Minimum 5 years practical test experience in a controlled test environment working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards
• Familiarity with testing, monitoring and control instruments
• Conscientious in attention to detail, accuracy and record keeping
• Ability to communicate clearly and to deal confidently with customers
