CRM and Digital Marketing Manager

Carpenters Workshop Gallery produces and exhibits functional sculptures (known as 'collectible design') by international artists and designers working outside their traditional territories of expression. It is an exciting, cutting edge and ambitious entrepreneurial project with a global physical footprint (Paris, London, NY, Los Angeles)

We are looking for a hybrid profile with an in-depth CRM and email marketing experience and additional paid marketing experience.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Digital and working in tight collaboration with the cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Regarding CRM and Email Marketing

  • Email and CRM channel ownership
  • Develop the CRM and email marketing channel to drive brand awareness, traffic, enquiries, new, customer monetisation and attributed revenue
  • Develop CRM to enhance customer data quality, categorisation, utilisation and introduce automation to improve client experience throughout the lifecycle, provide more personalised experiences and to drive efficiencies
  • Develop strategies, plan & deliver email marketing campaigns to bring it to the next level, including more advanced segmenting, optimised email templates (especially on mobile), new and creatives ideas, demonstrating ongoing improvements vs KPIs
  • Explore automated email flows - new subscriber confirmation, enquiry flow and more
  • CRM - working with Head of Digital the sales team and marketing, review and define customer lifecycle phases, customer segmentation, automated flows and triggers to improve sales process and customer experience and to improve CLTV and monetisation
  • Complete Hubspot implementation, working in close collaboration with Head of Digital, marketing, web and sales teams
  • Work with the marketing, content and sales teams to come up with new, creative strategies utilising industry best practice and customer journey insights
  • Monitor results and optimise campaigns to meet KPI goals
  • Regular reporting and insights (weekly, monthly, quarterly), proactively work on more insightful and more automated ways of providing actionable insights
  • Ensure the good performance and quality of data in the database
  • Uphold GDPR best practice

Regarding Digital Marketing

  • Develop paid marketing channel to drive brand awareness, traffic, enquiries, new client acquisition and attributed revenue
  • Develop strategies, plan, brief, project manage and validate all elements of the campaign with the relevant stakeholders
  • Set up campaigns, monitor results and optimise campaigns to meet KPI goals
  • Manage advertising budget to maximise ROAS
  • Work with the content team and social media team to come up with new, creative strategies utilising industry best practice and customer journey insights
  • Pilot, test and optimize journey, differentiated by client profiles in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams
  • Review ad campaign structures, tracking, utm structure and reporting and propose more efficient strategies to monitor and meet KPIs
  • Review and optimise audience targeting and propose new strategies to meet KPIs
  • Regular reporting and insights (weekly, monthly, quarterly), proactively work on more insightful and more automated ways of providing actionable insights
  • Propose new and creative ways to reach new customers and meet KPIs, including new channels, ad formats, creative strategies, audiences, etc

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a startup / SME in the luxury / arts industry
  • Proven channel ownership experience working within a Digital Marketing Manager / CRM Manager role
  • In depth experience with HubSpot, ideally building from ground up
  • In-depth knowledge of email marketing, marketing automation, lead nurturing, customer personas, and CRM management
  • Experience in delivering successful paid marketing campaigns, in particular, Instagram advertising
  • Strong experience with data tracking, defining data and reporting structures, connecting data points, monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting, campaign analysis and experience with producing insightful reporting to leadership is a must
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Hubspot is a must. Experience with Meta Advertising is highly preferred. Experience with Hotjar, SEMrush and other reporting and tracking tools is a plus
  • Keen eye for detail and visual aesthetic
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience with Pinterest Ads, Google Ads and other channels is preferrable
  • HubSpot certifications, Meta Advertising certifications or relevant qualifications are a plus
  • Copywriting skills are a plus

  • Project Management: track record of working in a fast paced and agile environment with lots of moving parts, able to stay on top of day to day work whilst not forgetting the bigger picture, ability to effectively prioritise and exceptional time management skills. Project management qualification would be a plus.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate a strategic mindset by aligning marketing activities with overall business objectives, consistently seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Leadership and Communication: Lead cross-functional teams with clear communication and collaboration, fostering a positive and results-driven work environment. Act as a key liaison between marketing, sales, and other departments.
  • Analytical Skills: Apply strong analytical skills to interpret data from HubSpot and other sources, making data-driven decisions, and continuously optimising marketing strategies for performance and efficiency.
  • Relevant Technical Skills: understands data flows, data architecture, complex workflows, relevant systems integrations and impact on data quality, etc.
