Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will join our Farehamteam to support our activities within the Naval sector. We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to design and develop advanced electronics for radar products. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-frequency/RF design and analogue signal processing, contributing to state-of-the-art defence solutions.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Design and develop high-frequency/RF electronics for advanced radar systems.
• Develop analogue signal processing circuits to maintain signal integrity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize radar performance.
• Implement and test electric motor drivers within radar platforms.
• Perform simulations and prototyping to validate electronic designs.
• Ensure designs comply with EMI/EMC standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Proven Electronics Design Experience with a focus on radar or high-frequency systems.
• Strong knowledge of High Frequency / RF Design principles.
• Expertise in Analogue Signal Processing and circuit design.
• Experience with Electric Motor Drivers and power electronics.
• Familiarity with PCB Layout, Schematic Design, and Simulation Tools (e.g., SPICE, HFSS).
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance and testing standards.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance due to the nature of defence projects.
