Job Description
What will you be doing?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team in North Devon, 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in electronics engineering and be able to take responsibility for electrical and electronics projects, delivering a variety of electro-mechanical systems, working within the defence and naval sectors. The candidate ideal must be SC clearable (Been in the UK for 5 years or more, and not left for 3 months or more at any one time).
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Take responsibility for the development, and delivery of electrical and electronics projects.
- Manage and provide technical support to a small team of engineers on specific projects.
- Oversee the integration and implementation of electro-mechanical systems.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with a background in electronics.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record in managing and delivering electrical and electronics projects.
- Strong understanding of circuit signal processing, as well as larger electro-mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SC clearable (Security Check clearance).
