Your new role
As our new Electrical Engineer, you will be a key part of the electrical discipline for our energy transition projects to meet the objectives for the deliverables within the discipline including timely delivery, quality, cost and sustainable solution.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Leading the electrical discipline in multidiscipline project teams in all project phases from early development to construction phase.
  • Performing design and leading electrical studies and calculations for LV, MV/HV systems.
  • Preparing feasibility studies, conceptual designs and contributions to associated reports.
  • Preparing technical documents including specifications, schedules and single line diagrams, for inclusion in tender enquiry documents.
  • Reviewing contractors design submissions in accordance with contract specifications, applicable standards, regulations and codes of practice.
  • Preparing contributions to expressions of interest, registrations, pre-qualifications and proposals.
  • Discussions with clients, tenderers, contractors, manufacturers and lending agencies as required during project delivery.
  • Ensuring that the deliverables from the discipline meet the contract specifications and that the discipline team is following the project plans (e.g. Project Execution Plan).
  • Establishing and communicating the project goals and success criteria to the discipline team
  • Reporting progress and any deviations to the Project Manager
  • Managing all changes and variations within the discipline in a timely manner

Your new team

Within our Automation and Electrical department you will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 120 passionate colleagues in EU, US and India. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector for projects around the world. The area of responsibility for this position is mainly Offshore Substation and green hydrogen production facilities, but also other energy transition projects such as Power Plants power generation, industrial energy and gas infrastructure..

These include:

  • A Bachelor, Master or PhD within Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5-12 years of experience in electrical design within onshore/offshore substations, electrification, power plants, PtX, Energy Intensive Industries or similar industries
  • Solid knowledge of LV, MV and HV design and equipment, specification and requirements of electrical studies and calculations
  • Have strong oral and written skills in English
  • You enjoy client contact and confidently engage with clients
  • You are a good team player and is experienced in leading electrical project teams
