About the role...

Are you an experienced qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) looking for your next challenge? Do you love finding solutions to clients' problems and adding value to their businesses?

Our Business Services and Outsourcing department are growing, and we're currently seeking a Director or Senior Manager to join them on their journey, focusing on servicing a portfolio within our Local OMB clients.

About the team...

Our Local client team provide a holistic service to small business owners and directors, offering support which not only helps them with their strategic aspirations for their companies but also their personal and family's financial goals. They combine their expertise with an empathetic approach to provide a truly personalised service with is unique to each client's situation and needs.

About the day to day...

You'll be working with a diverse portfolio of owner manager businesses, getting stuck into a broad range of tasks and responsibilities, including.

• Working with entrepreneurial businesses, dealing with all clients' compliance and advisory needs
• Overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax and other similar assignments across your portfolio
• Developing new opportunities and building up long-lasting relationships with existing clients
• Project managing a slick and efficient process from start to finish, keeping both the client and various internal teams happy, including working capital management
• Monitoring chargeability, profitability and recoverability across your portfolio
• Coaching and mentoring staff for improved performance and technical development

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.

In addition to those core values, as a Business Services & Outsourcing Director or Senior Manager you should be;

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
• Experience of efficiently managing a large portfolio of OMB/SME clients, with minimum supervision
• Be able to build strong client relationships and deliver an outstanding client experience
• Umpf! A genuine passion and drive for "getting stuff done", someone with excellent project management and communications skills
• Have a hunger for continuous improvement and a curiosity for finding the best way of doing things!
• Able to work within a fast-paced practice environment
• Leadership experience at a management grade
• Have experience using a range of accounting software, notably IRIS and Xero
