Senior Editor - Thought Leadership

Role purpose
Solidify and elevate the positioning of the company in the external environment via successfully developing political narrative on various issues related to Vodafone and key policy asks in alignment with the Company's Strategy and Purpose.
In this role, you will be driving our thought leadership, ensuring impact, consistency and alignment of messaging with business goals. Your will collaborate across teams and with senior leadership to create, publish and amplify content that resonates with target audiences and positions Vodafone Group as an industry thought leader.
What you'll do
- You define overarching narrative themes for thought leadership content that effectively showcase the company's deep industry expertise and valuable insights
- You collaborate seamlessly with experts, consultants, and various stakeholders to identify timely and pertinent topics for thought-provoking and relevant thought leadership pieces
- You lead the development of impactful data-driven thought leadership content encompassing articles, whitepapers, reports, videos, press releases, and more and ensure content is meticulously researched, insightful, and engaging
- You edit and refine content to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with the company's established tone and style guidelines and provide constructive feedback to contributors to enhance overall content quality
- You fact-check thoroughly and verify sources to uphold the credibility and accuracy of all thought leadership materials
- successfully developing political narrative on various issues related to Vodafone and key policy asks in alignment with the Company's Strategy and Purpose.
Who you are
- Has good knowledge of telecommunications/ technology sector.
- Has responsibility for delivering end results that can demonstrate a clear business benefit.
- Identifies and delivers solutions and provides advice based on technical professional experience
- Experience establishing policy positions and developing advocacy plans against priority issues.
- Experience within a regulated industry, government, or public policy consulting.
- Strong academic record and 3-5 years of professional experience
- Ability to write flawless English, even if it's not your native language
- A creative mind who likes bringing new ideas to existing projects
- Speaking one other European language fluently would be a bonus

- Yearly bonus: 10%
- Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year
