Senior EDI & HR Business Partner

Reporting to the Head of People, the Senior EDI & HR Business Partner (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion & Human Resources) will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You will effectively oversee, and be responsible for, the performance of the business partnering team ensuring that HR, EDI, and Reward and recognition activities are proactive and innovative.

In particular, you will:

  • Implement and embed a proactive partnering people function, supporting the organisation to deliver its priorities and overall strategy
  • Develop, embed, and refine EDI strategies and initiatives to promote inclusion and belonging
  • Ensure that people policies are innovative and progressive and inline with legislation
  • Develop and implement an organisational strategy for reward and recognition
  • Develop and execute employee engagement strategies, creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, implementing process improvements, through a lens of the employee experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in a HR and/or EDI Business Partnering role including a CIPD Level 7 qualification (or working towards)
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent communication skills, together with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and build credibility quickly.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable with an enthusiastic approach and a "can do" attitude.
  • Project, programme, and change management experience within a complex environment
  • Ability to challenge standard processes and drive improvements.
