What We Are Looking For...

Overview:
With a passion for delivering an inspirational and seamless customer journey you will have experience in driving value for businesses through organisational and operational excellence.

This role is responsible for delivering a consistent and standout journey across our sites and communication channels through working closely with our internal teams and strategic technology partners to drive customer engagement and conversion. Supporting the activation of campaigns across digital and reporting on their successes

Accountabilities:

• Supporting in the day-to-day upkeep of the website, ensuring any activity is effectively tested and scheduled. Work with development and design to ensure assets are provided on time and in the correct formats.
• Maintain a full understanding of our backend systems and how to use the technology to full effect to optimise customer journey.
• Managing site taxonomy for your relevant division and creating new categories, working closely with SEO and Trading teams to determine these.
• Ownership of category sort order across the various product types, ensuring the merchandising rules are optimised for best customer experience and driving conversion.
• Reporting regularly on performance of customer journeys across the site using business analytics tools.
• Be able to make clear conclusions and recommendations back to the Operations Manager to enhance site journeys.
• Be the conduit for reporting of bugs to the appropriate product and development teams.
• Continual competitor analysis to help build out future improvements to site with the Optimisation team.
• Ensure all general site information is both correct and relevant to the customer.
• Understand from the Content briefs what the business objectives are for campaign or onsite activations to make appropriate recommendations before the design team handover to development.

Skills:

• Experience in ecommerce operations
• Understanding of web analytics and key KPI's.
• Experience of GA desirable.
• Awareness of industry best-practice and the increasing importance of individualism in site journeys.
• Organised and detail-orientated.
• Strong communication skills
