Job Description

  • The Senior Ecommerce Manager leads the commercial performance of De Beers Jewellers Global Direct To Consumer websites with a focus on the UK, US, HK and France and 3rd Party Retailers (UK/US) reporting into the VP Digital & e-Commerce.
  • This role is responsible for delivering the commercial performance of DBJ.com and retail partners and leads a team to deliver ecommerce growth with a specific focus on merchandising, site optimisation and SEO for DBJ.com. The role will work in close partnership with the Senior CX Manager and Head of e-Commerce technology to build a clear product roadmap that delivers e-Commerce growth KPI's and supports the wider Digital Client Experience Strategy.
  • The Senior Ecommerce Manager will work in partnership with the Performance Manager to drive ecommerce via Performance Media and in parallel manage the SEO strategy to build a one search approach to build site visibility, traffic and conversion.
  • The role is responsible for 3rd Party Retailer management (including Wholesale) to implement DBJ.com marketing, trade and media calendars that deliver against commercial performance and brand strategy/positioning.
  • Manages commercial sales planning & forecasting across DTC and 3rd party retailers working with the VP eCommerce & Digital to build global budget and KPI's framework.
  • Responsible for DBJ.com performance globally. Leads the implementation of monthly activations and planning to achieve commercial targets, reflect digital brand priorities and marketing activations across DTC/3rd party retailers.
  • Leads all commercial reporting (weekly/monthly) to deliver DTC business performance insights across all key markets.
  • Senior Global E-Commerce Lead across site performance & analytics, will analyse and present key metrics, trends and insights across user journeys, personas, channels, and product to identify opportunities for optimisation and levers for growth.
  • Partner with the Senior CX Manager to ensure the CRO roadmap delivers against key eCommerce KPI's and optimisation of DBJ.com purchase funnel and will partner with the Head of Insights to build a clear measurement framework (GA4/Content Square)
  • Partner with the Senior CX Manager to identify and plan digital content across DBJ.com aligned to monthly activation calendar to execute brand and product storytelling to drive discovery, consideration, and conversion.
  • Partner with the Head of e-Commerce Technology to ensure the product roadmap aligns with the ecommerce commercial priorities, identifying product innovation & new functionality to optimise site performance and improve user journeys.
  • Lead team across Salesforce Commerce Cloud to accelerate personalisation and automation across DBJ.com working with the Head of e-Commerce Technology to continually optimise and advance commerce capabilities.
  • Lead DBJ.com (UK/US) SEO strategy across technical and on-site optimisation working closely with the e-Commerce content team to deliver SEO roadmap and partner with VP Digital & e-Commerce on off-site SEO Strategy. Work with the internal and external development teams to ensure the SEO framework is implemented.
  • Partner with the Performance Manager to ensure the DBJ.com Performance Strategy aligns to commercial KPI's and DBJ Digital Brand Strategy, working with the Performance Manager to build a test and learn framework to optimise and improve paid media performance.
  • Responsible for leading and implementing the merchandising strategy across DBJ.com; managing the team to deliver merchandising strategy, assortment management and product updates.
  • Manages 3rd Party retailers' strategy and budget management overseeing the 3rd Party Trade Executive to deliver brand store updates, content/assets, merchandising and commercial performance. Partners with the VP eCommerce & Digital to implement 3rd Party Retailer Media and Partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key functions - marketing/CRM/social to align on digital strategy and lead implementation across the ecommerce team supporting brand campaigns, media, and activations.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a global digital or global omni channel team
  • GA4 Certified (Desirable) but must have strong analytics & data capabilities
  • Commercial ecommerce experience in luxury sector essential
  • Commercial acumen and ability to forecast and hypothesize essential
  • Ability to analyse and synthesis data to identify key patterns/trends and apply insightful commentary via an insight to actions approach
  • Ability to manage short terms priorities and longer-term deliverables, able to prioritise strategically and tactically.
  • Salesforce Commerce Experience essential
  • Excellent project management using an agile methodology.
