LOCATION
This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
This exciting new role provides an opportunity to work on the global acceleration and enhancement of ghdhair.com onsite customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX). The Global Ecommerce Content Executive will be responsible for defining and driving the content strategy outlined within the ghdhair.com acceleration plan, working closely with the brand manager, studio team, product owner and SEO agency to elevate the content across ghdhair.com.
This role will also support in the ghdhair.com management of 3rd party functionality and key strategic partners to help drive continued improvements to the ghdhair.com customer journey.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the ghdhair.com global content acceleration plan, ensuring full alignment with key stakeholders throughout, to provide a best-in-class customer experience.
- Work cross functionally with the global brand and studio team to enhance website design and functionality, always championing a premium user experience.
- Execute with excellence the global content acceleration plan across high traffic and key areas of ghdhair.com.
- Hold a cadence of regular meetings with key stakeholders, to ensure alignment across all channels related to the ghdhair.com global content acceleration plan.
- Review competitor landscape, including premium brands, to ensure ghdhair.com is delivering a best-in-class user experience.
- Support the wider global ecommerce team with daily operational management of ghdhair.com.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Passionate about ghd as a brand, with a genuine interest in hair styling and technology.
- Digital first mindset, eager to always champion a premium user experience.
- Previous use of a website CMS and adobe photoshop.
- Confident in presenting to multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- High level of rigor and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Resourceful, creative, and flexible.
- Proactive with a positive attitude, a flexible approach to working and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
