What you'll do
As a key member of the New Car Sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll drive the UK strategy roadmap and enhance Volvo's Direct to Consumer journey. Collaborating with central product teams and the UK Commercial Strategy, you'll prioritize tactical execution to improve customer experience and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the UK strategy roadmap and e-commerce strategy in alignment with the UK Commercial Strategy.
- Enhance customer experience and retention, improving the sales funnel by addressing drop-off rates, cart abandonment, and user experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of merchandising campaigns, offers, and materials.
- Proactively manage third-party providers and direct quality.
- Collaborate with commercial digital teams to deliver on roadmap priorities.
- Monitor competition and product innovation, sharing insights with senior leadership.
- Coach, develop, and motivate team members, fostering high performance and engagement.
- Support the MD in developing and delivering strategic and annual plans.
- Evaluate and implement new business opportunities and pricing models.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively while delivering strategic objectives.
- Lead change initiatives to drive tangible improvements and results.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, shareholders, customers, and industry bodies.
What you'll bring
- eCommerce Knowledge: Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
- Automation Skills: Ability to streamline processes like inventory management and customer service.
- Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO, social media, and email marketing.
- Data Analytics & CRO: Strong reasoning skills to enhance sales and user experience.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for stakeholder collaboration.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Understanding customer journeys to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Technical Acumen: Basic knowledge of UX/UI, web design, and cybersecurity.
