Senior Brand Designer

We're looking for a creative leader with exceptional design skills, a brand strategy mind-set and proven studio management experience.
The Senior Brand Designer/Manager is a pivotal position within Rightmove Marketing's Brand Design team and works in close collaboration with the Head of Brand Design as well as senior stakeholders throughout the whole business. The role is responsible for delivering innovative design solutions for the Rightmove brand across a wide range of projects and platforms, as well as managing and mentoring the design team and overseeing the creative process, from brief to delivery.

What You'll be doing:
Designing/Design Directing:
- Creating impactful design projects with craft and consistency-from evolving our brand identity to designing marketing materials including social media, advertising campaigns, CRM, digital display, merchandise, physical events, and everything in between.
- Pitching and communicating design thinking to stakeholders, rationalising decisions based on research, data, best practice and brand guidance.
- Elevating, refining and approving design assets produced by the in-house creative team and by our agency and production partners.
Studio Management
- Working closely with the Head of Brand Design to ensure projects are planned effectively, briefed accurately and delivered in a way that maintains and elevates the high-quality standard of our creative solutions.
- Managing and mentoring a small team of designers, fostering an environment of collaboration and communication.
- Overseeing multiple projects, balancing resources and timelines and ensuring the successful delivery of creative solutions that meet company objectives.
- Identifying and implementing new tools and templates to improve team productivity and outcomes.
Brand Guardianship
- Defining and articulating brand-driven creative principles as well as owning guidelines that anchor Rightmove's brand essence.
- Leveraging Rightmove's brand design principles across all touchpoints, ensuring a unified look and feel that reflects who we are and how we want to be perceived.
Who you are:
- In-house or studio experience in a Senior Design position, working at the intersection of product, brand, and marketing.
- Proven people, process and stakeholder management experience, including the ability to influence and inspire.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, where switching contexts and design codes is the norm - inspiring others with your high levels of creativity, quality of craft, and practised eye for detail. - Evidence of developing or integrating brand strategy into all design thinking.
- Mastery of Figma, Adobe suite and project management tools like Asana. An interest in AI tools for design.
- Extensive experience with typography, colour, layout and photographic imagery, and the knowledge on how to bring all these together to embody a brand's personality, voice, and values.
- Experience of translating marketing objectives into compelling visual solutions that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals. A hands-on ability to generate ideas and bring them to life.
