Role Purpose
The role is client facing and transaction based and will involve becoming a leading member of the EMEA Data Centre Capital Markets team which includes both data centre powered land, and asset sale transactions, and which is part of our market leading Data Centre Solutions team.
We are seeking a senior I&L broker with a strong track record in originating and executing I&L leasing, capital markets or land transactions. Pan-European experience would be useful but not essential.
The successful candidate will be a team player used to working with the biggest I&L developers and large corporate clients in closing high profile and high value transactions.
The data centre sector is probably the fastest growing real estate sector globally, which is both exciting, dynamic and fast-moving and provides team members with unique opportunities to contribute to a high margin, market leading team.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential as the role is likely to involve close liaison with the CBRE office network around EMEA with some opportunities to travel.
The role is particularly suited to an individual who is looking to leverage their strong I&L market experience and relationships by focussing on the data centre development sector across Europe.
This role forms part of a close-knit and market leading data centre advisory team based in London, which is the largest and most profitable team in its field and further benefits from the wider CBRE global network.
Key Responsibilities
Working with global developer / investor clients to advise on their data centre requirements and strategy across Europe.
Sourcing, negotiation and execution of data centre transactions across Europe (land acquisition, powered shell leasing, investment transactions).
As experience develops, public speaking opportunities will be available at European data centre events.
