Role One: Senior Digital Education Technologist - up to £33,423 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Role Two: Digital Education Technologist - up to £30,921 per annum/ pro-rata (dependent on qualifications and experience). Role is 30hrs per week for 37 weeks per yearOur team is expanding and as we grow our digital learning provision we are seeking to fill two exciting opportunities. The roles are ideal for individuals who are creative, innovative and passionate about embracing technology to support the learning journey. Both roles require a clear understanding of how teaching, learning and assessment can be enhanced through the effective use of technology and wider learning resources, to join the College's DigiEd team. Based at our Andover campus, you will work closely with curriculum teams as well as our pool of highly experienced DigiEd and Learning Resources staff to ensure learners receive an outstanding learning experience. Working in a fast-paced and innovative environment, College DigiEd Technologists provide comprehensive support in the use of the College's existing digital learning systems in line with the objectives in the College DigiEd Strategy. Alongside helping staff and students develop and improve their digital skills and understanding, DigiEd Technologists also play a key role in exploring, promoting and disseminating new, emerging and innovative technologies to enhance the learning experience across the College community. As a result, this is a creative and varied role for a vibrant individual in a sector where Virtual & Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and other EdTech Tools are becoming ever more prominent. To be successful in the Senior DigiEd role you will also need to: • Support the Department Lead/Manager in realising a quality-driven approach to digital/online learning • Act as a team leader to DigiEd Technologists • Be able to plan CPD focused activities targeted at individual curriculum areas and subject staff to aid the development and delivery of a blended curriculum • Lead on projects • Manage digital learning platforms • Lead on sharing new and effective practice and review current DigiEd systems, approaches and processes to scrutinise their effectiveness.
