We are seeking a talented digital growth marketer to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team, in this fast paced environment. As the Senior Growth Manager / Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for organic traffic acquisition (SEO), continually optimising and improving the web experience to drive engagement and conversion, and you will be obsessive and curious about performance and impact.
You will collaborate with the wider web and regional teams on A/B testing and user-centric experimentation, refine website performance based on data insights, and manage SEO agencies and freelancers to drive organic (pipeline) growth. Your role will also include executing strategic SEO initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and regionally relevant digital experience.
Your efforts will directly contribute to scaling Personio's growth and enhancing our web experience for prospects and customers.
Key Responsibilities: What you'll do...
Growth Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies to optimize Personio's digital presence and user acquisition funnel.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align growth initiatives with broader marketing, product, and business goals.
- Be the objective eye that is looking holistically at the website for opportunities to improve user experience, message and design.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Collaborate on the ideation, design, and implementation of A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve website conversion rates.
- Leverage data and user insights to create targeted strategies for enhanced lead generation and customer engagement.
SEO and Content Optimization:
- Drive SEO initiatives, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization, to improve organic traffic and search rankings.
- Work closely with content and web teams to align SEO strategies with overall marketing objectives.
- Drive performance (qualified pipeline) through organic channels.
Web Analytics and Performance Measurement:
- Analyze web performance metrics and user behavior to identify growth opportunities and experiments.
- Report on key KPIs, ensuring actionable insights are communicated and presented to stakeholders effectively.
Required Experience:
- Experience: 5+ years in a growth, digital marketing, or web optimization role, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- International SEO Expertise: Proven track record in scaling performance and managing multi-language SEO strategies, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization.
- User-Centric Testing: Strong experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and data-driven experimentation to optimize user experiences and conversions.
- Agency and Freelance Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with SEO agencies and freelancers to deliver high-impact results.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and conversion optimization platforms.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, and content teams to execute digital marketing initiatives.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly to stakeholders.
Ideal but not essential:
- Experience in the HR software category.
- Additional languages (German, Spanish, Dutch) advantageous
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
- Experience in Conversion Optimisation.
- Familiarity with prioritisation frameworks/approaches such as RICE and effort/impact
