Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Microsoft MCP/MSCE qualifications or relevant experience.
  • Evidence of Personal Development

Desirable criteria

  • Post Grad qualification or equivalent or relevant experience
  • Further IT qualifications

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Extensive technical background in IT working in an Infrastructure support role
  • Knowledge of Local Area Network / Wide Area Network concepts

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Best Practices experience in NHS IT environment
  • Experienced in supervising junior team members

Attributes

Essential criteria

  • Ability to plan and organise broad range of complex activities, formulate and adjust plans which impact beyond own area
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle at any time

Desirable criteria

  • Collaborative approach and good team working
  • Ability to undertake shift working and out-of-hours on call cover.
