Position Summary

Summary

As a Digital & IT Senior Analyst you are expected to be an advanced professional in business analytics and business processes, responsible for maintaining and supporting the end users and workstation environment at our facilities. The role provides installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware and software and supports end users with advanced questions or problems by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems. The Senior IT analyst will help support a variety of IT processes and manufacturing applications, that are critical to day-to-day business operations.

  • Partner effectively with all levels of the organisation, including the ability to drive results and proactively identify and resolve problems.
  • Manage incidents and requests in coordination with global IT service desk, utilising ITIL foundational principles.
  • This role involves some direct interaction with internal customers, including, but not limited to, investigating comprehensive business requirements and use cases and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.
  • Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects.
  • Lead large infrastructure improvement projects, such as hardware/software installation or upgrades, migration to cloud services, OT and IoT network segmentation, or installation of new technology.
  • Stay abreast of new Digital and IT technological innovation/processes and researches the usage at Parker.
  • Network disaster recovery planning, documentation, training, and periodic testing per corporate requirements.
  • Prepare budgets for various IT capital and expense initiatives.
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle of on-site assets.
  • Develop detailed task lists, timelines, and resource budgets to complete projects. Align resources to tasks to accomplish projects.
  • Manage maintenance contracts and providers of outsourced services, deploy equipment, and recommend, plan, and oversee periodic equipment refresh.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or technology-related field of study.
  • Project management skills, standards, methods, and techniques are essential to be successful in the position.
  • ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
  • Minimum 4 years of IT System experience and 3+ years IT project management experience is required.
  • Strong business analysis experience and skillset.
  • Able ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong consultative, advisory, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Visio skills.
  • ITIL Foundation, strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert preferred.
  • CompTIA A+, preferred.
