Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Degree or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria

  • EPIC specialist certification in clinical modules e.g. Beaker/Radiant/Cupid/Willow.
  • Certification in other InterSystems product toolset e.g. Caché server administration and Caché ObjectScript.
  • Prince 2 accreditation Familiarity with Agile

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria

  • Extensive knowledge of HL7 v2/v3, XML, HL7-CDA, DICOM and FHIR messaging in relation to NHS data and workflows, using various communication protocols, tools and technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, Webservice, SSL.
  • Extensive experience of designing, developing, testing and managing interfaces using Intersystems HealthShare and
  • Experience of specifying rules for TIE Transformations Experience of message schemas and structures
  • Experience of, testing and maintaining interfaces
  • Substantial experience of IT project management including contribution to IT business cases, and production of relevant project documentation.

Desirable criteria

  • Specialist experience in EPR/LIMS Integration development.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and architecture best practices
  • Knowledge and experience of Windows, Apache
  • Experience in the 2nd or 3rd line IT support.

Essential criteria

  • Capability to develop skills quickly in any technical environment appropriate to service provision and ability to analyse and strong problem solving approach to issue resolution
  • Good organisational skills including time management, record keeping and paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate a range of IM&T issues which can be complex and multi-stranded to all levels within the organisation and with external partners.
  • Ability to plan and organise broad range of complex activities, formulate and adjust plans which impact beyond own area.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. Computer literate (including use of office software, email, internet)
  • Collaborative approach and good team working

  • Be Part of On-call rota Ability to undertake shift working including out-of-hours, weekend and Public Holiday
