Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid, however you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh Office 1-2 days per week for this position.

We're looking for a Senior Digital Analyst to join our Digital Analytics team at Tesco Bank

This exciting role responsible for customer and journey analysis of Tesco Bank owned websites and mobile apps, using insight to drive optimisation of the customer experience. This is an exciting role to help shape customer journeys and work with stakeholders across the business to share Digital Analytics insights and enable data-driven decision making.

You will be working with our best-in-class tech stack, such as Adobe Analytics and Medallia DXA, coupled with access to additional datasets such as VoC, social media and offline channel data. You will collaborate with business, analytics and implementation colleagues to drive continuous improvements to the customer experience.

Our mission is to deliver insightful and actionable insights through reporting and analysis - with a focus on establishing best practice processes and enabling data-driven decision making. You will bring your experience and skillset to help us achieve our mission and optimise the customer experience across Tesco Bank digital touchpoints.

What you'll be doing

Key roles and responsibilities

• Data collection and management: Manage analytics tools and platforms. Ensure accurate data collection, tracking, and integration across digital channels.

• Data analysis and interpretation: Analyse website traffic, customer behaviour, and conversion rates to derive actionable insights. Interpret data to inform decision-making and optimise digital journeys.

• Reporting and visualisation: Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends. Use data visualisation tools to present complex data in an understandable and accessible manner.

• Performance optimisation: Identify opportunities for improving website performance, user experience, and conversion rates. Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate the effectiveness of changes and enhancements.

• Collaboration and communication: Work closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to align analytics with overall business objectives. Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

We need you to have

• Digital Analytics experience in a related industry.

• Experience working with Digital Analytics partners, technologies, and tools.

• Strong communications skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate analysis and insights to a range of audiences across the business.

• Strong commercial acumen, demonstrating a sound understanding of business objectives and ability to align plans to these.

• A relentless customer focus, ensuring our Digital Analytics supports the development of exceptional digital customer experiences that deliver customer and business value.

• Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced organisation, prioritising individual and team backlogs on activities that add most value.

And if you have any of these, even better

• Previous Financial Services experience is ideal.

• Experience of working with Tag Management Systems, Adobe/Google Analytics, Testing and Optimisation.

• Experience working in an agile change environment.

Role Alignment

Following the announcement regarding Tesco's' strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our banking business and will transfer to Barclay's UK towards the end of 2024, subject to regulatory approval. Please note, the transfer date may change.
