Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To manage the adult dietetic caseloads with varying degree of nutritional complexity, without direct supervision and whilst exercising a large degree of autonomy.
- To be in expert in adult dietetic care within the Dietetic and Nutrition team and service, and inform other dietitians within the team and service of developments in these fields.
- To be responsible for dietetic and nutrition input into multi-professional groups and staff, and policy development within patient care.

Qualification
Essential criteria
- Hcpc registration
- Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
Desirable criteria
- Clinical supervisory skills training
- Additional training in nutrition support
Experience
Essential criteria
- All round Dietetic Experience
- Adult Nutritional Support experience
Desirable criteria
- Team MDT working
- Experience of clinical audit activities leading to improved patient care
- Is able to support and take a role in the professional development of others
Communication
Essential criteria
- All round written and verbal in all media
- Training and education experience
Desirable criteria
- Has undertaken post-registration training in behavioural change and motivational interviewing

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Please note if you are successful in obtaining this position and the post involves regulated activity you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment.
The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
