Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Birmingham)

Salary: up to £70,000 + Benefits

Investigo are exclusively partnered with an leading manufacturing organisation, who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, who has a true passion for implementing DevOps into a growing organisation and want to progress their career. This role would see you working on a multitude of projects, as they carry out a complete a huge modernisation project from off-shore back to in house.

Your responsibilities will involve both creating new DevOps functionalists for the business whilst also been responsible involved in the strategic planning. You will also be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather an understanding of where they can improve their systems. The organisation have many different systems, hosting all their applications on AWS but they do use GCP.

Your role will also include the chance to influence the longer-term tech strategy, and be in a small but growing DevOps team.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have the following skills:

• 5+ years working as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong knowledge with cloud technologies AWS preferably but other experience will be considered
• CI/CD pipeline design (Gitlab preferred)
• Strong Knowledge of Kubernetes around implementing and architecture for deployments with helm and blue/green
• Ability to communicate technical issues with non technical people
• Have great verbal and written communication skills
