Role: Senior Development Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker - the post holder will be expected to be in the office/out on site regularly, in line with business needs

Salary: Grade K - £53,630 - £56,840 per annum

Location: Harvey Road, NG8 3BB

About the Role

As a Senior Development Manager you will assist the Head of Development in the delivery of the New Build housing programme/refurbishment programme and effectively manage and support the project delivery team. You will have responsibility for the overall management of the Project Team through supervision and performance monitoring, setting clear goals and objectives for the delivery team. As Senior Development Manager you will be responsible for the management of the development of multiple housing developments from small-scale redevelopment of garage sites to large scale mixed tenure housing developments, ensuring all feasibility studies and option appraisals are carried out within a customer focused timeframe as well as ownership of the preparation of initial project briefs, including project objectives and outcomes.

About You

  1. Experience of programme management and effective risk management
  2. Experience of budget control/financial management including the ability to negotiate and drive value for money.
  3. Ability to lead, motivate, coach and supervise staff in a changing environment
  4. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to a range of audiences
  5. Self-motivated with effective planning skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects and work to deadlines
  6. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships, be resilient with ability to work within a changing environment
