Job overview
We are looking for an innovative, forward thinking individual to take up an exciting position within the Business & Financial Systems Team. The role will support the team in driving system development within the Finance department and for the wider organisation. We require an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The post holder must have advanced IT & analytical skills with a particular emphasis on current Finance Systems (Oracle, QlikView, Blue Prism)

Main duties of the job
This post is part of the Business Systems Team within Finance Department. This key role develops technical business solutions for BCULHB / WAST and NWSSP.
This post is responsible for the day to day development and support of Business Systems technical solutions and delivery for BCULHB and WAST. This will include complex databases, Business Intelligence, web based solutions and technical developments linked to Oracle Financials .
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- Educated to Degree\HND standard in IMT or equivalent relevant experience.
Desirable criteria
- ECDL or equivalent knowledge

- Proven experience of Microsoft Web server products
- Experience of producing scripts in SQL
- Ability to deal diplomatically with all levels and disciplines of staff
- Experience of Business Intelligence reporting software
- Proven track record of managing varied programmes of work to tight deadlines.
- Experience of designing and building relational databases
Desirable criteria
- Experience of QlikView reporting software
