Senior Developer TM1
With a background in project work, they will be able to demonstrate the ability to meeting tight deadlines and ideally would have a computer science or mathematics qualification / background. They will be comfortable in both running their own projects and working alongside other experienced developers on larger projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into TM1 solutions.
- Optimise TM1 models for performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement PowerBI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality visualizations.
- Integrate PowerBI solutions with other data sources and systems.
- Design and implement data models that support both TM1 and PowerBI requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across TM1 and PowerBI platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business units, to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on TM1 and PowerBI functionalities.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in TM1 and PowerBI.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a TM1 developer with in-depth knowledge of TM1 architecture and development.
- Experience in PowerBI development, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis processes.
- Understanding of data warehousing principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
