Senior Design Engineer

We are recruiting for the post of Senior Design Engineer (part time). Please apply if you have strong experience in the following:

• Accessibility via semantic HTML, ARIA, and JavaScript.
• Web performance and tools such as SpeedCurve, WebPageTest, PageSpeed Insights, and browser developer tools.
• Progressive enhancement to make web pages available to as many people as possible.
• CI/CD, Node.js, Github actions, headless CMS, Jamstack, and Webpack.
• Adding interactions and enhancements to web pages using JavaScript.

You will be working in the Online Platforms team in Barnardo's, and your main focus will be on the Barnardo's website and our custom website framework.

This is also a senior role so you will be expected to mentor, train and pair with more junior colleagues.
