What You'll Do

As a Senior Database Engineer, you'll take charge of designing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable, secure database systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performing, scalable, and secure database systems to support our business operations.
• Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system architects, to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop and enforce database standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and trends, integrating innovative solutions into our infrastructure.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone that is motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key qualifications include:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Database Engineer, with expertise in database design, optimization, and management.
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database tuning, and indexing strategies.
• Experience with database performance monitoring tools and cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
• Familiarity with data security, data encryption, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
