Senior Data Scientist, Product Analytics

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in experimentation and causal inference. They combine strong business acumen with a passion for building products customers love and a continuous desire to develop their craft.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Proactively identify opportunities and contribute insights that influence decision-making.
• Design metrics to provide structure and clarity for product and business teams. Helping to evaluate trade-offs and measure the success of product efforts.
• Act as a subject matter expert in experimentation and causal inference.
• Influence leadership to drive more data-informed decisions. This requires bringing a holistic view of the health of our ecosystem.
• Continuously push and adopt best practices across the advanced data analytics team.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET SOMEONE WITH

• Deep expertise in experimentation, A|B testing and causal inference.
• Experience with a wide range of analytical approaches, methodologies and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience using data to push forward product development.
• An ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a fast-paced environment alongside scientists, engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• A dedication and commitment to developing your craft.
• A deep understanding of advanced SQL techniques, Python and data modelling.

• An understanding of multi-sided markets and/or the dating problem space
