Our Data Practice delivers exciting projects through data-driven, digital transformation for our customers. We support from pre-sales through to delivery and have a strong focus on solving real customer challenges and deriving true customer benefit with the ultimate goal of benefiting society and driving meaningful digital and cultural change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the customer to create detailed, migration, test and assurance plans for all reports
  • Create data pipeline using AWS, MESH and Python that adhere to the design and architectural documents
  • Product high quality documentation and reports in Databricks in support of the project outcomes such as solution design, architectural artefacts, detailed migrations plans and requirement specifications
  • Develop data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for databases, data lakes, and warehouses.
  • Data integration with other systems and platforms through APIs and middleware which could include integrating data from multiple sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Contribute to the productionisation of new data capabilities / solutions through prototyping, requirements setting and implementation
  • Deliver customer value through understanding the context within which data solutions are being deployed

Qualifications

  • Ability to create detailed migration plans of how to move reports/extracta from current to target system, inclyding detailed testing and assurance plans for the migration
  • Experience working with and developing data pipelines using AWS, Databricks, Python, SQL, PySpark, DynamoDB and Gitlab
  • Track record in a similar role, with the ability to create bespoke solutions through coding
  • Experience of working within a varied team and ability to apply an Agile mindset
  • Experience of gathering business requirements and documenting through tools such as Confluence
