Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 + up to 15% bonus per annum

Working Location: Milton Keynes

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the design and migration of ETL processes to cloud-based data pipelines using Snowflake technologies.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data solutions with strategic business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring data engineers and elevating team performance.
  • Implement advanced Snowflake features for optimising data processing, integration, and storage.
  • Utilise DevOps practices and data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) to streamline and manage workflows efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Extensive experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
  • Proven track record in developing and deploying data pipelines in cloud environments, particularly Snowflake.
  • Experience with ETL design and implementation.
  • Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic projects.
  • Proficient in data processing patterns, distributed computing, and building applications for batch/real-time analytics.
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and containerisation technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Snowflake, including roles, schema, databases, and performance tuning.

Education and Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Data Analytics, Snowflake certification).
