JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

This role is responsible for a new KSA team that is being established to support the tactical and strategic asset management including the identification of key assets that will enable us to improve performance (predominantly the aircraft availability KPM’s) and sustain our future SSS Ph4 performance levels.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the Asset Suppression Team Leader in providing the necessary support to the RSAF fleet by ensuring that the asset management process is fully optimised to reduce criticality and increase/sustain availability.
- Analysis of in-service and Support data to determine Typhoon Fleet asset reliability / maintainability trends.
- Root Cause Analysis of asset reliability and maintainability issues to produce improvement / optimisation recommendations where appropriate.
- Use Crystal Reports, Excel and Oracle SQL Developer software to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources to build reports and models based on this data and/or carry out analysis of this data.
- Creating and designing dashboard to visualize & monitor data in a meaningful manner.
- Provide timely information facilitation to other sections within and outside the department pertaining to asset management.
- Provision of frequent reporting to support findings, status, achievements and performance indicators for the various levels of stakeholders.
- Where required support on-going Engineering and Life Cycle Management activities including the definition of engineering change and capability insertion and promotion of Learning from Experience (LfE) to future contract negotiations.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent experience in data mining and analysis.
- Experience with SQL development, and preferably in Oracle SQL Developer software.
- Proven capability of creating, designing, and maintaining dashboards and reports.
- Modelling capability using the Witness Toolset or similar.
- Extensive proven relevant work Experience with extensive experience in an operational support environment.
