Senior Data Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

What we doThis is a role of data analysis, negotiation, documentation and co-ordination of fronting agreements. The role is suitable for someone who is highly technical and is highly organised. This role is a fixed term contract.
What you will doResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Lead and develop the build of a new data reporting suite to support commercial business decision making for fronted business.
• Take ownership of the reporting requirements to / from our fronting partner including ownership of data file transfer with automated IT feeds.
• Technical lead in negotiation of commercial T&C's with potential new fronting partners and documentation of the same in conjunction with Business Solutions/Legal teams.
• Design processes to ensure all agreed terms & conditions are shared with the relevant departments in a timely manner.
• Central point of contact for the business on all fronted agreements.
• Annual renegotiation of commercial T&C's with existing fronting partners and captive contracts to ensure best deal for Allianz in order to remain competitive in the market in terms of premium charged to Allianz customers
• Identification of key commercial risks, corresponding controls and ongoing monitoring of risks and controls
• Trigger commercial audits and conduct reviews or processes and procedures following the identification of issues
• Develop/maintain strong processes to ensure contractually agreed prices are built into premium rates and flow through correctly to Finance for payment - including reconciliation of the numbers.
• Management of compliance with group governance requirements for fronted contracts (inwards reinsurance) and captive contracts (outwards reinsurance)
• Any other fronting related topics.
What we needTo be successful in this position you will have most of the following skills/ experience:
• Experience of leading data and reporting transformation within insurance companies.
• Proficient user of SQL and Power BI
• Experience of working in a large, complex global financial services organisation.
• Experience of working internationally
• Degree and / or professional qualification with technical background (e.g. Mathematics)
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good numerical skills
