What the job involves
Can you help us use data to drive decisions across the NSPCC?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced data analyst to join our Reporting & Insights team. The Reporting & Insights team produce Power BI reports and analysis. We use a variety of data sets to maximise the impact of our fundraisers and other organisational activity.
This is a prominent role that helps us understand our supporters and our service users and improve their experience. You will work with stakeholders to understand their priorities and deliver insightful analytics and reporting to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
What we want from you
We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced data analyst.
The successful candidate should have the following experience:
- Experience of using Power BI (or similar tool) to develop semantic models and create reports.
- Sound knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistics
- Experience of developing code (for example using SQL, R, or Python for analysis).
- Ability to accurately analyse and interpret data and present insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
- Ability to identify and devise creative solutions.
- Experience of developing best practices within an organisation.
