About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Corporate Communications
Manager to join our Group Communications and Corporate Affairs team in London

As a senior member of the communications function, this role provides oversight and co- ordination across the full communications portfolio - spanning media and PR, public affairs and policy, employee communications, and brand and digital channels - ensuring that our corporate narrative is consistently and strategically deployed.
You will help align corporate communications with key policy, regulatory and wider
stakeholder priorities, ensuring that our messaging is both externally credible and internally cohesive.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, investor relations, and wider business teams to deliver high-impact communications that build reputation, support business strategy, and strengthen stakeholder engagement across the UK, US and Hong Kong.

What you'll be doing

Corporate Reputation & Strategic oversight

  • Act as a central point of co-ordination across the Group Communications and
    Corporate Affairs team, ensuring the alignment of messaging, campaigns and
    reputation-building activity.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated corporate communication
    strategies that build trust and credibility across all key markets (UK, US, HK).
  • Create clear, engaging messaging to articulate the Group's vision, values,
    performance and transformation story to stakeholders including investors, regulators, industry bodies, and media.
  • Provide strategic counsel to executives, senior leaders and functional heads on
    reputation management, narrative positioning, and corporate messaging.
    Partnership with Public Affairs and Policy
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Head of Public Affairs and Policy to ensure
    communications and policy priorities are fully integrated.
  • Support the translation of policy, regulatory, and industry developments into clear and compelling corporate messaging for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Support proactive campaigns and thought leadership that reinforce the Group's voice on key policy issues.

Executive Communications

  • Partner with Group and regional executives to develop speeches, opinion pieces,
    scripts, presentations and spokespeople briefings that reinforce leadership visibility and strategic priorities.
  • Shape and manage the CEO and other key spokespeople at high-impact industry
    events, media interviews, and investor forums. Strategic management of the CEO's social media profile.

Corporate Content & Storytelling

  • Lead the creation of high-quality corporate content including thought leadership
    articles, web copy, video scripts and social media content.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Communications, and the Creative Services team, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across multimedia platforms.

Issues & Crisis Management

  • Support the Director of Communications in planning for and responding to
    reputational issues, sensitive announcements, and crisis/issue communications.
  • Develop and maintain scenario-based messaging frameworks, FAQs, and escalation protocols.

Who we're looking for

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
  • Professional training or certifications in corporate communications, crisis management, public affairs, or investor relations a plus.
  • Experience working within or alongside FTSE-listed organisations or multinational
    companies.
  • Proven experience in corporate communications, public affairs or senior
    corporate communications roles within complex, international, regulated or
    infrastructure-related organisations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional communications and building a cohesive corporate narrative across multiple disciplines (PR, public affairs, employee communications, brand and marketing)
  • Experience working with policy and public affairs teams, translating policy priorities into communications strategies.
  • Experience in managing high-profile corporate narratives, executive communications, and reputational campaigns across multiple geographies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills for executive presentations, investor messaging,thought leadership and strategic messaging.
  • Experience navigating issues/crises communications and confidence in advising
    senior leaders in high-stakes environments, including Board-level executives.
  • Experience in working in fast-paced, high-stakes communications environments.
  • Understanding of capital markets communications, ESG/sustainability reporting, and corporate governance is highly desirable
