The Role

At AMS, we're building teams that are curious, collaborative, and committed to doing great work. We're looking for a Senior Coordinator - Early Careers & Campus who enjoys learning and values teamwork.
The Senior Coordinator for campus recruitment manages the entire recruitment process, from creating job requisitions to assessing and selecting candidates, creation of offer letters and contracts, and overseeing the onboarding process.
Their additional responsibilities are for delegating tasks, monitoring task completion, and acting as a point of contact for business unit recruiters. Additionally, they perform 4-eye checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with recruitment policies.
Reports to: Manager - EC&C
Key Accountabilities
- Managed account-specific activities across the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition creation and management, event coordination, application screening, online test administration, video interview assessment, interview scheduling, candidate query management, offer management, onboarding, invoicing and purchase order creation, ATS updates, referral tracking, and reporting.
- Updated and maintained the Operations Manual and associated work instructions to ensure accuracy and alignment with current processes.
- Built and maintained strong working relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, vendors, and other key account stakeholders.
- Ensured all stakeholders and colleagues were regularly informed of relevant processes and any changes, providing first-line support for issue resolution and escalation management.
- Reviewed recruitment and operational processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Oversaw work allocation and reviewed the accuracy and quality of outputs delivered by Coordinators.
- Planned and delivered high-volume recruitment events as the core responsibility of the role, supporting Early Identification Programmes.
- Travelled extensively across Scotland and the North of England to support recruitment activities and events.
- Liaised closely with external suppliers, schools, colleges, and universities to support attraction and outreach initiatives.
Skills & Requirements
Must have:
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment administration (requisitions, interviews, offers, onboarding, ATS updates)
- Strong stakeholder coordination with recruiters, hiring managers, and vendors
- Ability to oversee coordinators' workloads, ensuring quality, accuracy, and process adherence
- Experience handling queries, escalations, and process updates
- High attention to detail, quality, and service excellence
- Confident user of MS Office and recruitment/admin systems
Nice to have:
- Experience with events, assessments, video interviews, or online testing
- Exposure to RPO or shared-service environments
- Involvement in process improvement initiatives
- Experience with invoicing, PO raising, or referral tracking
